About Us
The Reaper Rig, by Lure Us In, has been designed and developed by owner Alan Agyik.
A keen kayak and jet ski fisherman, Alan was unsatisfied with the trolling rigs on the market. He found them too cumbersome to use, too slow to bait, and too inconsistent in their swimming motion.
During the years of real world testing on the Gold Coast and Tweed the Reaper Rig has proven hugely successful at catching all manner of pelagic species such as mackerel, tuna, wahoo, mahi mahi, giant trevally and others. Other possible applications in salt water (eg flathead trolling over shallow banks) as well as fresh water (eg bass) are exciting and yet to be explored.
Alan knows this product works because he designed it, refined it, and used it out on the ocean, so he knows it catches fish. Now he wants to share the Reaper Rig with the people that share his passion for fishing.
You won’t find a better, easier-to-use, cost-effective trolling rig anywhere on the market.
Tired of wasting valuable minutes re-baiting inferior rigs, Alan set out to make re-baiting easier and faster than ever with the Reaper Rig. A Grim Reaper-inspired scythe was designed to ensure bait can be locked into the rig in seconds. The scythe and the through rod are laser cut from stainless steel to provide incredible strength, while the body of the rig is made out of aluminium, making it more durable and environmentally friendly than inferior products made out of plastic.
